Paperwork Update
The update is basically there is no update. There are four families, me being one, that have paperwork in Ubate. They are waiting for all four to finish before we go back to Ubate to sign the final papers. At first we were going to find out at ten oclock, then at noon, now it will be two oclock. The papers are on the judge´s desk, and they just need is approval. Therefore, keep praying for paperwork. God is so good and all I have to do is look back over the last eighteen months of answered prayers to know that this too will turn out for the best. Lunch is being served, so I had better go.

I know pretty much the thoughts that are running through your head right now, Jeri! I went through a similar situation when I was waiting to adopt Shelby, but I was in Michigan waiting for a judge who was supposed to leave on vacation. He ended up coming into the office on a whim and signed the papers, much like the person is doing for you as I write this. Yes, it is important to look back and just see how God is working things out and without our help, surprisingly! A letter from Jim Poel included this quote that I thought was awesome "Often, trust is giving up our demand to understand. To accomplish that, God often has to back us into a corner so we will be forced to give up our little guessing games about understanding His ways."
This is one experience that you will never forget! If He lead you to it, He will lead you through it. :-) We are counting down the days and you know that is not easy for us. Ha! Ha! Squeeze my cousins for me.

Dear Jeralyn, Be encouraged, our God is bigger than all of this and He is in the midst of all, His timing is perfect and He will lead and care for you and your little flock. I am encouraged by you and your abiding faith. I am sure there are up and down emotions but do not give in to Satan's desire to pull you from God, to put doubt or confusion in your mind. God's will is for you to have these daughters, His will is for you to be together, and you are! We love you and the girls and our prayers are united for God's will and His perfect timing. Enjoy these moments where the busy world of Kalamazoo is not intruding and pulling you in many directions. Love and cuddle, teach and learn explore and enjoy! You are an awesome family put together by God's design. Love Gail and the Friday Night Small Group
Thanks for keeping us posted Jer! You are growing my faith through the journey.
Love ya,
Karen
